The reissue flap is one of the hardest for us to source pre-owned in mint condition. Boutique Patina deliberately sets out to find only the most well-preserved reissues with creased bottoms (as they come from the boutique) and no creasing on the front or back panels as they often do. The bags we procure for this line are often not yet broken in, like this one.

Produced in 2011, nearly 15 years old and in stunning condition.

The reissue ligne is known and coveted by Chanel lovers as the original Chanel classic model, before the interlocking CC's were released. The rectangular mademoiselle lock, quilted aged calfskin and aged bijoux chain are hallmarks of this original.

The classic 2.55 reissue flap is the first classic flap made by Coco Chanel. Hailed by enthusiasts, it's released season after season, first made in 1955.

The original aged calfskin reissue flaps have the thick, distressed and chewy calfskin leather, a leather truly superior to caviar calfskin but with more give to the panels.

The bag comes deliberately folded/creased at the bottom and in aged calfskin with aged hardware. Interior is lined in lambskin, and has a double flap.

Bijoux chain is intricately etched and can be worn double or single strap. Interior features two compartments.

In Black textured calfskin and ruthenium hardware.

The medium 225 size is 10 inches wide, similar to the medium classic flap in size.

This item is in excellent condition with very few signs of normal use. Corners are clean with no rubbing or scuffing. Hardware is deliberately aged and is designed to have an aged look.Interior is clean. Please view all 12 to 16 photos of the actual bag, for details, and ask any questions.
